Superintendent salary survey results available

An exclusive benefit of ASBA membership

ASBA conducts an annual salary survey designed to study district compensation and benefits for certified and administrative personnel as well as superintendents that serve students across the state.

Each year, this information is designed to meet ASBA members’ need for important information to assist in determining comparable compensation for school employees across the state. The survey has been streamlined and re-focused to better capture salary environments outside of the traditional salary schedule of credits and seniority.

Next year ASBA will be conducting the Certified and Administrative Personnel Survey along with the Superintendent Salary at the same time and earlier in the year to ensure districts only participate once a year to make it easier for our members.

Click below to view the Fiscal Year 2021 salary survey results for superintendents. Please note you must enter the password emailed to all members. If you need the password, please email Katie Link at klink@azsba.org. This information is available to ASBA members only.

Attend Advocacy Day plus new resource for daily alerts

Please join us on February 22 for the first Advocacy Day since 2020! The program will be held in the Historic Senate chamber in the Capitol. Members will connect with each other and staff to discuss the biggest issues facing school districts this year, learn tips on how to be a more effective advocate for your community, and then have the option to attend an Education Committee hearing.

The program will last from 9am to noon, we will have a break for lunch, and then members are free to join us in watching floor and committee or meet with their legislators in the afternoon. Look for registration details coming soon.

ASBA has partnered with BillTrack50.com to track legislation. The Association’s positions on bills, including the relevant ASBA staff summaries, can be found in one place on this page. Bookmark it for easy reference all session long!
