Arizona Chamber Foundation targets A rated public schools

“A for Arizona” is an initiative under the Arizona Chamber Foundation and works in partnership with the Arizona Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. This group has been emailing principals across the state with an A rating inviting them to learn more about this initiative.

It is important to point out that the Arizona Chamber played a role in supporting ESAs and corporate tax cuts and were behind the advertising campaign and commercials during last year’s Legislative session that minimized the plight of teachers and scale of the challenges facing Arizona’s public schools. Most recently, the Chamber pushed for a lawsuit that prevented the Invest in Ed initiative from happening. We encourage you to be mindful of the policies that the Chamber Foundation usually supports which in the past have impacted our public schools when considering whether to become involved.
