Puzzle Unveils ASBA’s Logo Redesign That Reflects Member Feedback
ASBA members unveiled the new ASBA logo by putting together a puzzle at their tables during the ASBA-ASA Annual Conference.
During our rebranding initiative, we heard these common themes from members:
- Feedback regarding the logo included suggestions to make it stand for the organization’s values or add graphics to distinguish ASBA from other associations.
- Members wanted the logo to visually tie to the state of Arizona and education.
- Members pointed out confusion when searching for ASBA, as other associations with similar acronyms pop up.
- Members suggested that the tagline should communicate more clearly what the organization does and its value.
- If a change is considered, members wanted the new branding to reflect education in its appearance.
- Some members mentioned the need for improved ease of use on the website.
This insights and data were invaluable for the rebranding process, helping to shape ASBA’s identity, logo, tagline and website to better align with the needs and expectations of its members and potential members.
The next phase is redesigning the ASBA website in response to members’ concerns that the website is outdated, not user-friendly and lacking current information, particularly related to conferences and events.
