PHOENIX – The Arizona School Boards Association was honored as the Education Visionary Award recipient at the 10th Annual Education Visionary Awards Ceremony hosted by the Peoria Education Foundation on Monday, March 30. ASBA was presented with this prestigious award for its advocacy efforts and overall support for public education throughout the entire state. Each year, the Foundation honors a community partner, nonprofit collaboration, business leader, and education visionary recipient.

The Arizona School Boards Association is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to promoting elected local governance of public education and continuous improvement of student success by providing leadership and assistance to school district governing boards statewide. ASBA represents more than 1,000 school board members and more than 1 million Arizona children.
