Things you need to know:
- Not much to see here…
It was a slow day at the Legislature, with no committee meetings or floor action in either chamber. Limited floor action might be a continuing trend in the House this week, as Rep. David Stringer from LD 1 resigned from office at the end of last week. Without him, House Republicans don’t have the 31 votes needed to pass legislation.
The House stands adjourned until Wednesday afternoon, at which point the Yavapai County Board of Supervisors will have selected Stringer’s replacement.
We’ll be back at it again tomorrow i Senate Appropriations.
