Danielle Lerner is an Emmy Award-winning broadcast journalist turned lifestyle host, PR support specialist, and media consultant. After more than 15 years working in local news, Danielle now hosts the show “Arizona Living” for Cox’s Yurview platforms. In addition to on-camera hosting, voice-over work, and content creation, Danielle is a proud industry partner for Phoenix-based LDH Consulting, where she offers a host of services for businesses and nonprofits across the country. Her personal client roster has included both the largest school district and the largest health system in Arizona.

Danielle has more than 15 years of experience working in local news, most recently as an anchor and reporter at ABC15. During her more than seven years there, Danielle received two Emmy awards and several nominations, but her work took on more importance than ever in 2020.  As lead education reporter, Danielle spent more than a year using her expertise, sources and skills to help schools, teachers, students, and their families navigate an unprecedented year of health concerns, remote learning, and COVID safety protocols.

Also in 2020, after more than a decade of telling other people’s stories, Danielle decided to share her family’s own journey with postpartum depression and anxiety after the birth of her middle daughter. Her three-part series on maternal mental health received immense praise from the community and took home an EMMY award. However, and most importantly, it solidified Danielle’s passion to advocate for preventing, treating, and raising awareness about perinatal mood disorders.

Before returning home to Phoenix, Danielle worked for the NBC stations in San Luis Obispo, CA, and Tucson. She graduated from Saint Mary’s College in South Bend, Indiana, and received her Master’s Degree in Journalism from Northwestern University.

Above all, Danielle’s favorite role is being a wife and mom.  She and her husband, Al, both grew up in the Valley and have known each other since high school.  They have three daughters and are thrilled to be raising their family in their hometown.
