Debbie Esparza, a passionate advocate for women, girls, and People of Color, has dedicated her entire life to the pursuit of justice and empowerment. Currently serving as the CEO of YWCA Metropolitan Phoenix, Debbie’s commitment to the YWCA’s mission began over 25 years ago, evolving from a dedicated donor and volunteer to a National Board Member. 

With a career spanning diverse sectors such as banking, consulting, entrepreneurship, academia, and over two decades in non-profit executive leadership, Debbie brings a unique and comprehensive leadership perspective to her roles. Her unwavering focus on race and gender lenses shapes her viewpoint, ensuring that her work is centered on addressing systemic inequalities. 

Debbie’s purpose is clear – to disrupt and dismantle the systemic barriers perpetuating social and racial inequities. Leading with her heart, she is determined to create a world where women, girls, and people of color are viewed as equal, powerful, and unstoppable. Her personal philanthropy reflects this commitment, directing support towards LGBTQ+ issues, women’s and girls’ empowerment, and leadership initiatives.
