The most important responsibility of school boards is to work with their communities to improve student achievement in their local public schools. A governing board resolution is a formal document that makes a statement about an important educational issue. Passing a resolution is an important step to affirm that educators should shape the environment in which they work and the quality education our kids are entitled to receive.
