Jimmy Arwood
Governmental relations director
Jimmy Arwood serves as the governmental relations director for the Arizona School Boards Association, where he represents member districts at the state Capitol. Since joining ASBA in 2025, he has traveled throughout the state to meet with school leaders, listen to their concerns and bring those perspectives to lawmakers. With a background in policy advocacy and a deep commitment to public service, Jimmy believes intentional conversation is key to finding solutions that support all Arizona students.
Driven by optimism and a collaborative spirit, he approaches each challenge with enthusiasm. Outside of his work at ASBA, Jimmy enjoys hiking mountain trails, playing sand volleyball and competing in his highly competitive cornhole league.
