Sarah James
Board support and field services specialist
Sarah James is a board support and field services specialist at the Arizona School Boards Association, where she has served since 2024. In her role, she works directly with governing boards across the state, supporting them through trainings, strategic planning and facilitation. She also contributes to the development of content for ASBA workshops, conferences and webinars.
An educator for 25 years, Sarah is passionate about strengthening Arizona’s public schools and helping board members lead with confidence. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with her family.
